Note for Windows 7 and Windows 8: If you see an error when starting DiskDigger that says "The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-string-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.", please install this hotfix update from Microsoft.

 

Note for Windows Vista: If you see an error when starting DiskDigger, make sure you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 installed.

 


What am I downloading?

The download is simply the DiskDigger program (DiskDigger.exe) as a single executable file. There is no installation necessary; simply download and run it!
